Currently a researcher at France Telecom R&D’s Creative Studio.
A graduate in the History of art and later in Information and Communication Sciences, he is currently a researcher for Creative Study at France Telecom R&D after being artistic director of the Electronic Arts Station of the University of Rennes 2 from 1993 to 2002. A specialist in the analysis of emergent uses, he is involved in research work on the prospects of the telecommunication services. He lectures in Master’s degree research courses at the University of Rennes 2, Poitiers, and Paris 8. In 2004, he defended his doctor’s thesis entitled: “For aesthetics of information. Artistic creation as an anticipation of ICT social customs?” This research work has been awarded a prize by the CREIS (national association of researchers working on the relationships between computer science and society). http://www.fra.../rd/index.html
